Service Description
The AKC Canine Good Citizen certificate is an award given to those who have completed a certain level of training and can be trusted in public spaces. Training curriculum for Canine Good Citizen includes: Practicing the 10 tests that will be conducted in a CGC evaluation in field trip settings. These settings can include a restaurant, store, nursing home, park, and more! To prepare, we focus on: - Engagement exercises - Off leash work - Greeting people politely - Neutrality in the presence of other dogs and people - Then, of course - the field trips! For puppies and adults ages 4 months and up. A private session offers the flexibility to work at your own pace. Must be able to show knowledge of Basic and Advanced Obedience. Private training sessions may take place at Olivia's Pack shop, the client's home, or a mutual location such as a park. If your home is located over 30 minutes away from Olivia's Pack shop, an additional travel fee will be added. $1 for each additional minute over 30 minutes. For example, if you live 40 minutes away from the shop, the travel fee will be an extra $10.
